Summary and Pizza

Sports, as we all know by now, makes a difference to many people. College sports represents an industry and an identity, it serves many interests, some of which conflict, and it bears a complex but organic relationship to high quality academic institutions. Sports is about management, it is about money, it is about values, and it is about society. Sports is also about winning.

Our last class takes place on campus where we can have Pizza. We'll provide a location near the end of the semester.

This last class meets at the regular time and we will be honored to provide various varieties of pizza and soft drinks. We will take this opportunity to summarize the course, discuss issues that we didn't have enough time to address earlier, and follow up on any matters of interest to members of the class.
